How can I improve the image quality?
-
Check the following:
- Make sure you select the best Color Mode for your picture and viewing environment, then use the settings in the Image menu to finish adjusting the picture.
- If the projected image is fuzzy or blurry, adjust the image focus.
- Make sure the projector is placed at the proper distance from the screen. Use the Projection Distance Calculator to determine how far to place the projector from the screen.
- Make sure you selected the correct Video Signal or Video Range setting in the projector's Signal menu, if available for your image source.
- Turn on the Dynamic Contrast setting in the projector's Image menu.
- Try setting the Video Range setting to Auto in the projector's Signal menu.
- Adjust the Sharpness, Brightness, Contrast, and Color Saturation settings in the Image menu.
For best results, connect your video equipment to the HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 port. If your equipment doesn't support HDMI, connect it to one of the following ports (highest quality listed first):
- HDBaseT with a 100Base-TX LAN cable
-
If you are projecting from a computer, adjust the computer's resolution to match the projector's native resolution, if possible.
- To optimize the color tone according to the scene and to make the image more vivid, correct the image by adjusting the Scene Adaptive Gamma setting.
